It’s been a while since I posted one of these. I’ve done a lot of beading and chain maille. I’ve had a fun time, summer is here and I’m feeling good! So here’s what’s happened since last time, in pictures.

EDIT: So to clarify, I added the origins of the jewelry I had been working on the past few weeks. On the day I was just too lazy to write since most of it had been mentioned before.

Picture 1.
Top left. A CRAW heart I don’t know the origin of. I give these away as gifts to my customers.
Top right. Video tutorial in italian here.
Bottom left. “Narcis Pendant”. Design by Rachel Sim. Beadwork Magazine June/July 2014.
Bottom right. Loomed cuff. Instructions found on beadshop.com.

These 3 “Interwoven” bracelets are made following a tutorial that can be purchased here.

All but the top left are designs that can be found at UnkamenSupplies.
The top left is a free pdf (in dutch) I found here.

It’s been a few weeks since I posted anything. Lately I have been playing WoW more than I have been beading.

So besides leveling a few characters to 90 I’ve completed the bezel necklace. The design is slightly different from my fist attempt and I’m not sure which version I prefer. Going to have to make it again to see if I can make some adjustments.

My sister wanted a Bokhara bracelet for her birthday so I made this one with the colors she picked. I made it shorter than the other one by omitting the last repeat of the pattern. Hopefully it will fit.

Box number 7 is complete except for the feet. The pentagon shaped box is so far my favourite box to bead. ♥

Not a whole lot of beading going on but some is better than none.

I made a pair of earrings from the August/September issue of Beadwork Magazine. They are called “four corners earrings”, designed by Michelle McEnroe. They are kinda big, the round bead in the center is a 10 mm bead.
They were Not fun to make. It took so much time trying to wiggle the needle through the 2-hole beads on the last rounds of the pattern. But as a result the beadwork is neat and there is hardly any exposed thread.

I’ve also re-worked a pattern for a necklace that I wrote over a year ago. It still needs some work.

See you next week!
