The Beaded Week 67

I purchased a macrame tutorial by Sherri Stokey on CraftArtEdu.com. It is a video tutorial of her Falling Leaves design.

I made a red and green bracelet for myself to wear at Christmas and then I made a teal and gold version that turned out a little bit short, I should have made 1 more leaf.

Just before the new year I decided to learn how to knit, so I got some very cheap needles and yarn and turned to Youtube for teachers.

There’s A LOT of tutorials out there but I started with HappyBerry Knitting because she’s also my crochet teacher on her crochet channel, HappyBerry Crochet.

However, I found it awkward to hold the yarn in my right hand so I searched for tutorials on how to knit holding the yarn in the left hand. This video here helped but I also found some helpful tutorials in Swedish.

I used one ball of bulky yarn to learn the knit stitch and it was pretty easy.  I made a few mistakes of course but it was fun so I think I will try to learn some more stitches. 🙂

Thanks for reading and Happy New Year! ♥
